Illand Kula is very special to us. We bred her mother Rommy fan 'e Sjongedyk with frozen semen from Doaitsen 420. When we flushed Rommy there was and embryo so we put it in a recip mare named Maggie Mae. Maggie is a gentle giant, a Percheron/Draft cross. Maggie became pregnant and we were thrilled. In December of 2009 Rommy passed away. We were so very sad but knew that we had one more foal coming from her, Illand Kula. We are looking forward to Illand carrying on her mothers legacy. Hopefully she will do as well has her half brother Gideon who became a star stallion and her half sister Rijkje Kula who became a 1st premie star mare and provisional crown mare.
Illand Kula has a soft large eye and a nice head with an upright neck. She has very long legs, a roomy walk and a strong trot. We look forward to a long and happy future with her.
